‘Eye catching Art’ is the work of John Goodman, who has lived in Dorset for much of his life, where the natural world has been a major source of inspiration for him.
John studied Fine Art and Photography in the 1970’s, then followed a career as a professional photographer over a period of two decades. However, it is only in recent years with the enormous improvements in digital imaging that John has been able to return to and realise his creative ambitions, through the fusion of Art and Photography.
The wonders of nature and the huge advances in technology have brought new dimensions to his creative output. He hopes that you find the images stimulating and would value your feedback on these examples of his work.
John also, from time to time, undertakes commissions of portraits and other projects with a difference. He brings his unusual take on his subjects and other aspects of their lives and/or environment. The focus might be on their personalities, fantasies, or events/ achievements in their lives, but the result will be a composition, both personal and unique.
